Something I’ve learned about photography…

Sometimes the best photo isn’t the one I planned.

It’s the laugh that happens just after I lower the camera.

The child who suddenly decides they’ve had enough of posing.

The couple who look at each other when they think I’m not watching.

The wind messing up someone’s hair.

The family trying to get everyone looking in the same direction… and completely failing. 😂

Those are the moments I love.

Because years from now, I don’t think you’ll look at your photographs and remember whether everyone was standing perfectly.

You’ll remember how that day felt.

That’s what I want to capture with Danders Photography.

Yes, I know what you’re thinking… “You’re a photographer — where was the real camera?!” 😂

Sometimes the best camera is simply the one you have with you. And I have to admit, these actually turned out pretty good, especially viewed on a smaller screen!

Would I choose my proper camera over my phone? Absolutely. 📷 But it just goes to show that sometimes you don’t always have your gear to capture a moment worth keeping.

📸 Looking for Beautiful Photography Spots!

Hello everyone! 👋

I’m fairly new to the area and still getting to know the surrounding towns. As a photographer, I’m always on the lookout for beautiful, interesting, or even hidden locations to explore with my camera.

Are there any scenic parks, trails, waterfront spots, gardens, historic areas, hidden gems, or beautiful viewpoints that you would recommend?

I’d especially love to hear about those little local spots that might not show up in a typical Google search.
