Victorian Falls
This photo was taken very early in the morning, I think it was around 4 or 5 am. The reason was not to get too much natural light. this photo earned a position in the paper in England.
Very small cluster of mushrooms
A very small cluster of mushrooms
This story is interesting, well I think it is and I hope it is for you. I was walking in the National Trust Nature Reserve in England and looking around for something interesting to shoot, while I was looking, I only just spotted this tiny little cluster of mushrooms and telling no lie, this cluster of mushrooms was no bigger than a Canadian Dime. This was the first opportunity to use the macro kit I bought about a week prior. I attached the kit and set up the shot; the result was pretty good.
National Trust Nature Reserve
Nature Reserve.
Formy Point was one of my favourite places to walk and explore. This photo was just a snap of their paths to nowhere, not sure where that one was going to, however, I think it was one to the beach.
English Robin
Formby Point Nature Reserve
Yes, that’s right, this little feller is an English Robin. A well-fed one, that’s for sure. You would find this hard to believe, however, this little guy followed me everywhere. I did not feed him as that was the rule in the nature reserve. I was searching for unusual things to take pictures of and there he was, he popped right in front of the camera and posed. lol
A Fish Pond
A Fish Pond.
Quite a few years ago, I was invited to take some pictures of my Uncle’s fish pond, I had a Coolpix 510 camera at that time and I thought was a decent camera. The camera did not have many bells and whistles but to me, that’s what I had. I looked at the pond and I pictured what I was going to take in my mind, it was still a little wet on the grass and I did not care, I got down onto the grass, on the edge of the pond with the camera and focused, and I took the shot. I hope you like the picture.
